THE ROLE OF CONSONANTS IN CONNECTED SPEECH

Abstract

The importance of consonants in connected speech is examined in this article. Through an analysis of phonological processes like linking, elision, and assimilation, the paper demonstrates how consonants modify in continuous speech to preserve communication effectiveness.
