Introduction
This article provides information about the artistic function of conflict in George Orwell's 1984. The novel 1984 is a terrifying scenario of the future by the English writer George Orwell, whose real name is Eric Arthur Blair. In the novel, the totalitarian world order, in which individuality and human rights are completely destroyed, consciousness is controlled, and people are turned into a mechanized mass, is described with an amazing level of imagination, even to the smallest details. Although the work has a utopian character, some critics and writers evaluate it as a realistic work.
