SOME METHODS OF IT TO IMPROVE (ENLARGE) VOCABULARY IN ENGLISH (FOREIGN LANGUAGES)

Abstract. This article explores various information technology (IT) methods that can be leveraged to enhance vocabulary acquisition in English and other foreign languages. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to identify effective IT-based strategies, including mobile applications, online flashcards, gamification, and adaptive learning systems. The results demonstrate that these methods can significantly improve learners' vocabulary retention and recall compared to traditional learning approaches. The analysis and discussion sections delve into the advantages and limitations of each method, as well as their potential for personalized and self-paced learning. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of integrating IT tools into language learning curricula to optimize vocabulary acquisition and overall language proficiency.
