Abstract
Flashcards have been a staple in educational environments, particularly in language learning, for decades. By encouraging active recall, engaging multiple senses, and fostering repetitive learning, flashcards have proven to be an accessible and effective tool in language instruction. This article highlights the theoretical foundations of using flashcards, their advantages over traditional methods, and practical applications in the classroom. The findings suggest that flashcards can significantly enhance learning outcomes, especially when used consistently in beginner English courses.
